In this article will show you how to setup your Email Account in Third Party Email Application like Thunderbird.
1. SMTP settings
By default our SMTP configuration is as below. This apply for any Hosting Plan that you subscribe.
Secure SSL/TLS Settings (Recommended)
Username: | Use the Email Account created in the hosting. |
Password: | Use the email account’s password. |
Incoming Server: | mail.yourdomainname.com
|
Outgoing Server: | mail.yourdomainname.com
|
Non-SSL Settings (NOT Recommended)
Username: | Use the Email Account created in the hosting. |
Password: | Use the email account’s password. |
Incoming Server: | mail.yourdomainname.com
|
Outgoing Server: | mail.yourdomainname.com
|
2. Thunderbird Installation
Thunderbird Maill Application can be install using this link here direct from their Thunderbird Website.
3. Add Email Account in Thunderbird
Launch your Mozilla Thunderbird Mail Application in your computer
In the Mozilla Thunderbird screen, click as image below to start add your Email Account.
From here enter the information required which is “Your Name” “Email Address” and “Password” has been filled, Click “Manual Config” button to start entering your SMTP configurations.
Insert the Incoming and Outgoing setting by referring the information on No 1.
(what shown in the images is our domain address and setting, each client will need to use their own domain name)

After you click “Done” button you will have your Email syncronizing for your Inbox.
This will conclude your Email Account setup on Thunderbird.
